The Drive with Big Al & DMac LIVE in studio! The guys get some historical perspective on Keenum & hear audio from their interview with Keenum from earlier in the day. Keenum goes through some lasting memories in Minnesota, and tells Al & DMac there’s so much to playing QB in this league & it’s a skill-set not a lot of people have. Denver7 Broncos Insider Troy Renck joins the show to say it can’t hurt to bring in a guy like Case Keenum with some edge & attitude, and Keenum should feel disrespected after Minnesota never treated him like ‘the guy.’

LISTEN TO HOUR ONE HERE!!!

The guys get some historical perspective on Keenum & hear audio from their interview with Keenum from earlier in the day. Keenum goes through some lasting memories in Minnesota, and tells Al & DMac there’s so much to playing QB in this league & it’s a skill-set not a lot of people have. Keenum is excited to run some plays with DT & Emmanuel, and DMac finds out if the impressive shorter QB thinks he’s better than Kirk Cousins. Listen to the interview HERE! In the Big 3 @ 3:30, DMac asks Al who the better QB is between Kirk Cousins & Case Keenum. DMac is amazed the Vikings didn’t retain Keenum, and wonders if the NFC Championship game let the Vikings down. Big Al says we are about to see some big changes in Arizona after they fall to Buffalo in the NCAA tournament, and DMac wonders how important it will be for Keenum to put a passing camp together. Denver7 Broncos Insider Troy Renck joins the show to say it can’t hurt to bring in a guy like Case Keenum with some edge & attitude, and Keenum should feel disrespected after Minnesota never treated him like ‘the guy.’ Also, Troy keeps an eye on Denver trying to rebound next year, and says they must love their guy at No 5 overall. Listen to the interview HERE!

LISTEN TO HOUR TWO HERE!!!

The guys go over the best of their Case Keenum audio, and Big Al wants the listeners to consider the type of quarterback Kubiak loves. DMac mentions the Adam Gotsis situation, and what’s next for the veteran lineman. Al & DMac compare Josh Rosen to Jay Cutler, and Big Al says Cutler has gotten by in the NFL solely on a strong arm. Al says nobody respected Case Keenum’s game in high school, college or the pros, and DMac says John Elway mispronouncing Keenum’s name encapsulates Keenum’s football career. Al runs through the list of free agent QBs that have earned the right to start in this league. Big Al says the Broncos can still be exposed over the middle on 3rd down, and he’s happy with the Todd Davis signing but still worried about the linebacker core. DMac says the loss of Adam Gotsis could lead to the pick of Bradley Chubb in the draft if Gotsis’ situation gets worse. Also, we check in on the Nevada vs Texas game in the 2018 NCAA tournament. DMac says Case Keenum will not back down, even if the Broncos draft a QB at No 5 overall. Big Al says all this Paxton Lynch talk is sounding like a smoke screen, and look for at least seven Broncos staff members to Uber up to Wyoming to watch Josh Allen’s pro-day.

LISTEN TO HOUR THREE HERE!!!

Al says this is a big year for Bill Musgrave, and he feels really good about the decision to go with Keenum. DMac expects a trade for a Right Tackle, and can’t believe the ‘Paxton patch’ is still standing. Also, DMac’s new 7-year manifesto & audio from their first interview with Broncos’ new starting QB Case Keenum. Big Al defends himself for saying he wouldn’t completely give up on Paxton Lynch as a backup just yet, and says who knows what QBs will be available in the NFL draft next year. Also, Al tells Dmac he’s sick and tired of hearing about how Baker Mayfield is the best QB in the draft. The guys guess how many Broncos representatives will be at Josh Allen’s pro-day and if all this Paxton Lynch talk is a smoke screen. Also, why the Broncos will not take a defensive player too high in the draft.
