The Drive with Big Al & DMac LIVE in studio! Denver7 Broncos Insider Troy Renck joins the show to talk about Demaryius Thomas’ contract, and why he is still a good value despite his declining play of late. Troy says it’s time for DT to prove it on the field & help Case Keenum out.

LISTEN TO HOUR ONE HERE!!!

Big Al says congrats to Joe Thomas, and the guys discuss Todd Davis’ new three-year deal to stay in Denver. Tyrann Mathieu is being released by the Arizona Cardinals, and Eric Ebron is drawing Al’s interest now that the Detroit Lions have cut ties. Al thinks there might be something wrong with Julius Thomas now that Adam Gase has even moved on, and the guys would love to see TD machine Eric Decker back in Denver, as DMac says Decker is a great teammate. Also, Al characterizes Virgil Green’s time in Denver, Buffalo is still without a QB & it’s starting to feel like AJ McCarron is heading to the Patriots. DMac asks Al if Ndamukong Suh is simply a sell-out, and Big Al is quick to remind him things have worked out pretty well so far for Sam Bradford & Suh wouldn’t be the first NFL player with money on his mind. Trevor Siemian is heading to Minnesota, as the Broncos finalize a trade with the Vikings for the veteran QB. Big Al says it’s too bad Mike McCoy is no longer a coordinator in the Broncos division, and DMac marvels at the careers of Josh McCown & Sam Bradford. Big Sexy discusses the details of the Trevor Siemian trade to the Vikings, including the Broncos landing an undisclosed pick in 2019, and the deal is confirmed by Troy Renck. Also, DMac asks Al if he likes Baker Mayfield going around saying he’s the best QB in this year’s draft.

LISTEN TO HOUR TWO HERE!!!

DMac & Big Al discuss Trevor Siemian & Kyle Sloter in Minnesota, and how things will shake out at the QB1 spot for the Vikings. Big Al is quick to note how popular Kyle Sloter was at Fan Football Fest, and DMac says Derek Wolfe is his own man & also a popular figure in Denver. DMac makes fun of Kirk Cousins diet, among other things, and the guys read off Case Keenum’s thank you to Minnesota & John Elway’s welcome note to Case in Denver. Al & DMac discuss the two-year deal details for Case Keenum in Denver. DMac details their battle with the other hosts on the station about who they want as Denver’s starting QB & why Siemian had to go. Denver7 Broncos Insider Troy Renck joins the show to talk about Demaryius Thomas’ contract, and why he is still a good value despite his declining play of late. Troy says it’s time for DT to prove it on the field & help Case Keenum out. Big Al tells Troy why he thought Kirk Cousins was never an option in Denver, and Troy explains what good agents like Cousins’ do. Listen to the interview HERE!

LISTEN TO HOUR THREE HERE!!!

Big Al talks about his lasting memory on Case Keenum, and says there are some knocks, but he’s not upset about the signing. Al is in on Eric Decker, but out on Tyrann Mathieu, out on Ndamukong Suh, and in on Eric Ebron, who he says was underutilized in Detroit. Also, Al wants to land a dynamic running back if we move on from CJ Anderson. DMac goes through the details of the Trevor Siemian trade to the Vikings, which includes Siemian & a 7th round draft pick in 2018 to the Vikings in exchange for Minnesota’s 5th round pick in 2019. Big Al asks DMac if the Garett Bolles pick will work out, and DMac is hoping for a different philosophy on offense. Big Al says the ‘Gary Kubiak way’ isn’t progressive, but we’ve seen it win Super Bowls, and Case Keenum’s initial presser is set for Friday at 10:00am. We hear from Aqib Talib on NFL Network about moving on from the Broncos & what the Rams’ new nickname for their secondary should be. Big Al shivers to think of Vontaze Burfict as an Oakland Raider, and DMac wraps up all the QB deals that went down today in the NFL. Also, what Big Al just can’t understand about Baker Mayfield.
