Legal tampering period begins in the NFL: ‘Pritchard & Cecil’

Pritchard & Cecil – 03/12/2018 – Pritchard & Cecil live in studio. Monday’s show Pritchard & Cecil talk about the Broncos tendering Matt Paradis & Shaquil Barrett, C.J. Anderson not being released yet as the Broncos listen to trade offers and some of the other hot news from around the league as the legal tampering period opened in the league.

Hour one Pritchard & Cecil start the week off with some quarterback discussion as free agency gets set to fully kick off. Mike Pritchard thinks Case Keenum is the best quarterback for the Broncos right now and rather have him over top free agent quarterback Kirk Cousins. Stink from Schlereth & Evans has different thoughts as the guys listen to a clip from Stink explaining his stance. Cecil Lammey gives his thoughts on the two quarterbacks as well. Also, the Broncos have already thought about atrade at quarterback, does this mean they’re not all in on Kirk Cousins? The guys look at some of the news and clues this off-season that would lead everyone to thinking they aren’t or are in on the Cousins free agent sweepstakes.

Plus, the guys look at all the free agent running backs available this off-season and the latest news regarding Broncos running back C.J. Anderson. Will the Broncos release or find another solution with C.J. Anderson? Pritchard & Cecil break that down and talk about the current landscape of the draft and other factors for the Broncos at running back.

Hour two Pritchard & Cecil talk about the legal tampering period getting underway in the NFL and what the Broncos should be looking at this off-season. Mike Pritchard & Cecil Lammey talk about how Broncos General Manager John Elway still has some magic up his sleeve and why it might be up to Elway to recruit some of these free agents this off-season. The guys also talk about the corner back position for Denver and which free agent corner backs would be the best fit for the Broncos after the departure of veteran quarterback Aqib Talib. The guys talk about that and also look at the prospects of Denver getting the NFL here in 2019 or 2020.

Pritchard & Cecil then talk about the Broncos starting to tender players. The guys break down the latest news as the Broncos 2nd round tendered center Matt Paradis and linebacker Shaquil Barrett. The guys get into that and weigh in on some of the other positions of need for the Broncos this off-season as well. Pritchard & Cecil give their thoughts on where the Broncos most need to upgrade fast. The guys talk about that and much more as the legal tampering period heats up the off-season.

For the rest of the final hour of the show the guys talk about the Broncos search for their next quarterback and trying to sell Kirk Cousins on coming to Denver. The guys talk about how the Broncos could set up their team to best sell free agent quarterbacks this off-season.
