As part of the team’s plan to “aggressively” address the quarterback position this offseason, the Denver Broncos are reportedly expected to make Trevor Siemian available via trade.
NFL Network Insider Ian Rapoport reports that Siemian will be on the trade block as the NFL Scouting Combine approaches, and the Broncos quarterback position could look like Paxton Lynch and two new faces next season.
As Combine conversations loom, one QB who will be discussed is Trevor Siemian. The #Broncos QB is expected to be available via trade, as the team will address the QB position aggressively in FA & the draft. Could be Paxton Lynch, then 2 other new QBs in Denver.

This isn’t the first time Siemian, who was the Broncos Day 1 starter the previous two seasons, has been tied to trade rumors.
Last offseason, ESPN NFL Insider Chris Mortensen first reported the Broncos were “talking” with the New York Jets about a trade involving the quarterback during the Tony Romo sweepstakes.
However, contradictory reports indicated Denver was not trying to trade Siemian at the time.
Now getting some backpedal on Siemian/Jets/Bromcos talk. But Romo as a trade rather than release is still alive.

Each of the past two seasons Siemian has entered the offseason in competition with other quarterbacks — in 2016 with Mark Sanchez and 2017 with Lynch — earning the starting role in training camp each time.
However, he was replaced under center Brock Osweiler after a 29-19 loss on the road against the Kansas City Chiefs in Week 7.
Siemian did return to the lineup after an ankle injury sidelined Lynch in Week 11, but after just three starts the signal caller dislocated his left shoulder in Week 14 against the Indianapolis Colts and was placed on injured reserved.
