Hour one on Stokley & Zach kicks off with the news of Broncos wide receiver, Emmanuel Sanders not being prosecuted on a sexual assault charge in Texas. A Texas Grand Jury decided there was not enough evidence to charge Sanders but the Broncos’ statement says they are looking into it.
ESPN’s Mel Kiper Jr. has come out with his first mock draft and the fellas react to who he has the Broncos taking and the mock number one overall pick. Kiper has Wyoming quarterback, Josh Allen going number one overall and the Broncos taking USC quarterback, Sam Darnold. Stoke says that it’s concerning that Darnold went the wrong way in development but you also have to look at the pieces he lost at USC.
Stoke & Zach have another quarterback that no one is talking about in free agency, Sam Bradford. Zach digs up some info about the Broncos trying to trade for him in 2016.
Stoke says that one option he likes, entering the 2018 off season is drafting two quarterbacks. Zach and Stoke talk about what would happen if Paxton and Trevor had a veteran to learn under.
Paxton Lynch’s future with the Broncos is under pressure and the fellas dive into what possible options the Broncos could take with the former first round pick.
The fellas talk about the Emmanuel Sanders investigation and what this means for his contract with the Broncos. Zach and Stoke think that if the broncos wanted to trade Emmanuel right now, it would be hard to find a trade partner.
Stoke’s beef is with everybody at The Fan wanting to get a middle of the road quarterback. Stoke says taking a middle of the road quarterback is as risky as taking a quarterback with the 5th overall pick.
The fellas close out the show with Mel Kiper’s mck draft and Sam Darnold falling to 5 and the Denver Broncos.
