Stokley & Zach kick off Wednesday’s show with Baker Mayfield signing an agent based out of Boulder, Colorado and the fellas dive into what this means for the Broncos, if anything.
Stoke says that if he had the number 5 overall pick and the Broncos hit on a free agent quarterback, they have to go after Penn State running back, Saquon Barkley.
Stoke & Zach talk about what changes to expect out of Vance going into his second year. Stoke says his decision making will be different. Stoke thinks Vance will worry about the team more than individual players.
With Thursday Night Football under fire for ratings and injuries, the fellas wonder if it’s here to stay. Zach and Stoke dive into the money side and ratings of NFL games on Thursdays. Stoke has a couple ideas of how to keep it interesting.
Stoke talks about how you can’s approach the evolution of a quarterback the same way as you can other players. It takes different situations to develop a quarterback but you can take a little more time with other players throughout the season.
Zach brings up that Garrett Bolles is the first rookie to make the all-rookie team for the Broncos since Knowshon Moreno did in 2009.
Fan Broncos Insider, Cecil Lammey joins the fellas. Zach asks Cecil about the 2018 draft class and what he thinks Vance will do better heading into the 2018 season. Cecil also gives us insight to who the Broncos are evaluating at the 2018 Shrine game.
Stoke & Zach have a name in mind that no one has talked about yet, Nick Foles. Stoke says Nick Foles is not the answer and he would rather have Brock Osweiler back.
Stoke’s beef on Wednesday is with the Aaron Afflalo punch thrown in the NBA last night and the other guy ended up being kicked out.
