Stoke is back! Brandon Stokley makes his return to Stokley & Zach and the guys catch up on what Stoke missed while he was away.
Former voice of the Oklahoma Sooners and WWE announcer, Jim Ross joins the guys and he gives us his insight on Sooner quarterback Baker Mayfield. Jim says that Baker is a very likeable player and that he reminds him of Drew Brees. Hear what else “Good Ole’ JR” said by clicking HERE
The fellas dive into the coaching staff this year and who made what decisions. The guys still wonder why they didn’t see more out of rookie running back, DeAngelo Henderson. Stoke says that you will see a huge difference in Vance Joseph’s coaching between year one and year two.
The second hour kicks off with how Vance has handled incidents with the Broncos and the guys compare him to other coaches who would let some of the things fly. The guys say that from the pre-season, the Broncos haven’t handled situations very well including the Will Parks incident.
The guys let Broncos Country weigh in on the topic and they say cutting Kyle Sloter and the hesitation of benching players are just a couple things.
The Broncos have locked up the number 5 overall draft pick and who they think the Broncos need to go after. Stoke says if Penn State running back, Saquon Barkley is available you have to take him but if there is a franchise quarterback at 5 then also grab him.
Fan Broncos Insider, Cecil Lammey joins the guys to talk about the Senior Bowl and why it is so important for the Broncos to be coaching the North. Cecil touches on the draft and which position they should keep their eye on.
Baker Mayfield has been assigned to the North Team in the Senior Bowl and that means big things for the Broncos. Stoke says if Josh Allen accepts his invitation to be on the team as well then the Broncos are in even better shape when it comes to the 2018 draft.
Stoke’s beef on Thursday is with the Broncos antics all of 2017 and how they need to be more like the New England Patriots when it comes to accountability and handling of situations that have taken place.
The guys talk about the free agency market and who could be a quarterback to take a chance on for the rest of the hour.
