The Drive with Big Al & DMac LIVE in studio! FAN Football Insider Cecil Lammey joins the show to gauge interest in RGIII around the league, and tells DMac & Al Josh Rosen’s biggest problem is thinking he knows everything.
Big Al tells DMac a couple of bad moments have ruined the perception of Trevor Siemian, and pounds the table for Jameis Winston, noting that Winston is a QB that can be traded for. In the Big 3 @ 3:30, NFL Network suspends Marshall Faulk among others, as it investigates allegations of sexual harassment. Al & DMac agree the Miami Dolphins are a damn good football team, and Gase is coaching the way he wants. Also, DMac asks Al what he thinks about the Ball Bros. heading to Lithuania. Trevor Siemian was in good spirits today, and DMac says Trevor will be giving his guys a shot from here out. Al thinks DT played with some extra energy, and DMac says confidence & playing with a lead make all the difference in the world. DMac says a win felt like a breath of fresh air, and Al expects Denver to go from worst to first next year.
The guys talk about when T-Shirts get embarrassing, and DMac notes the players are having more fun & are upbeat about the decals on their helmets this week. Al mentions hearing the words ‘coach wants to see you’ and tells DMac what his locker used to look like. Big Al says he felt blessed when the Broncos had ‘hat day’ on Fridays, and tells DMac about being part of the ‘Victory Club.’ DMac wants to know what Kirk Cousins deserves, and says things were different out at practice today. Al wants to know who is making the picks for Denver, and says it can’t all be John Elway. Cecil says Jameis Winston is the top dog if he were put in this ‘18 draft class, and has questions about Denver committing to drafting a QB instead of going after Kirk Cousins, Eli Manning or Drew Brees. The Broncos scoop Matt LaCosse from the Giants, and Al wants to know what to do with players that aren’t playing in Bowl games. Al says the writing is on the wall for the NCAA’s best, and the guys compare the CSU Rams season to the CU Buffs. DMac asks Al what Denver would need to give up to move into the top 5 in the draft, and asks Al if he wants the Broncos to lose. Al says a terrible record this year will help the Broncos land an easier schedule next year, and DMac is disappointed in Herm Edwards for not knowing about the Sun Devils.
