As the Denver Broncos attempt to move on from a fourth-straight loss for the first time since the Tim Tebow era, certainly, a lot of finger pointing will be made externally on how the season’s derailed a bit since early October.
Internally, however, head coach Vance Joseph said each man on the Broncos squad needs to do a “self-check” on his effort, but the first-year head coach said it all “starts with me.”
“I’m the head coach here so it starts with me. I’ve got to fix this,” Joseph said after the game. “We had a great week of practice in all three phases and had a great plan, so, obviously, I missed something this week.”
And among those already looking inward at improving, guard Ron Leary said after the game.
“Personally, I mean I have to get better,” Leary said after the game. “I got my butt kicked today, so hats off to them. We just have to get better.”
