The Drive with Big Al & DMac LIVE in studio! Cecil Lammey joins the show to give the guys the latest Broncos news & tell them just who River Cracraft is, the Washington State product who Denver just signed today. Jake Plummer joins the show to reminisce about his Arizona State Sun Devils with DMac, and help Al figure out why Denver would go after Jenkins & Apple. HOF Offensive Lineman Willie Roaf joins the show to address the right tackle position in Denver & why the Broncos can’t seem to figure it out.
Dmac asks Big Al who the Broncos RT is if Menelik Watson can’t go, and Al says he is happy with Stephenson temporarily. Al mentions the talented pass rushers in the Broncos division up against our average talent, and says it doesn’t make sense why this has been a problem for years now. In the Big 3 @ 3:30, Dick Monfort announces a price increase & a new scoreboard at Coors Field next year, and Big Al thinks the Rockies have been fair lately with their decisions on tickets. Al is excited about October & the start of the NBA season, and DMac tries to find away players can express themselves without kneeling for the Anthem. Also, Big Al tells DMac don’t get him started on Jamaal Charles, and the Broncos attacked the Giants in completely the wrong way.
Dmac asks Al who the Broncos truly are, and Al says the worst thing is being figured out like the Raiders have been. The boys touch on another team’s opportunity now that Rodgers is out, and DMac explains why he’s taking it one game at a time.
