The Drive with DMac & Mike Pritchard LIVE in studio! Sports Columnist for The Star-Ledger Steve Politi joins the show to figure out Ben McAdoo’s deal when it comes to dealing with the media. Steve says getting Stokley in a Giants uniform would be nice, and Stokley deserves a ring for his time in New York.
Trevor Siemian is sounding more & more like Peyton Manning every day, and makes a joke about Brandon Stokley in his presser. DMac says if you can pull off the Peyton Manning look, go for it & there’s only a certain few that can do it. Peyton jokes with DMac about a rash he has that’s unidentified, and DMac admits Manning is one of a kind. Team USA drops one to Trinidad & Tobago last night 2-1, and DMac & Pritch dicuss if it was an opportunity missed for the Americans. Coach McAdoo addresses DRC getting benched for the SNF matchup against the Broncos, and Mike Evans hops on the show to play the King Soopers Fan Football Pick ‘Em ‘Shame Game.’ DMac once again points to the final game of the year against the Raiders in ’16. The guys debate if there are any jobs out there that you could walk out one day, and get your job back the next, like DRC.
DMac accidentally hears about Eli Apple’s progress from Ben McAdoo after asking him about the status of an ‘Eli.’ DMac laughs about how to pronounce Nevada, and the thought of Eli Manning coming to Denver. Pritch tries to decide if the ‘Suck For Luck’ campaign would still work with today’s young NCAA quarterbacks, and DMac says he’s liking Trevor Siemian more every day. Sports Columnist for The Star-Ledger Steve Politi joins the show to figure out Ben McAdoo’s deal when it comes to dealing with the media. Steve says getting Stokley in a Giants uniform would be nice, and Stokley deserves a ring for his time in New York. Also, the fractures become visible with the DRC situation & Politi says add it to the list of issues McAdoo is unfit to handle. Listen to the interview HERE!
DMac highlights the bumper-sticker mentality, and why he loves T-Shirts with messages on them as a reminder for the team to stay focused. Pritch says the strategy is simple, but effective. Also, DMac praises Emmanuel Sanders & wonders who should have the loudest voice in the Broncos locker room, and Pritch knows players that have their money act differently than those who don’t. DMac screams Go Cubs, GO! As they blow it against the Washington Nationals in bad weather at Wrigley. The Drive wins the King Soopers Fan Football Pick ‘em, and we hear from Mike Evans as he had to play the ‘Shame Game.’ Pritch remembers the refs changing the game against the Bills, and DMac says it’s something you must prepare for on the road.
