The Drive with Big Al & DMac LIVE in studio! Boomer Esiason joins the show to say he would do anything for former teammate Alfred Williams. DMac figures out the mental state of New York according to Boomer, and Esiason says the most disappointing thing so far in NY has been the defense, as they’ve turned from dominant into a horror show. Cecil Lammey joins the show to tell DMac & Al about his interview with Shane Ray, and who he expects to be sent down once Jake Butt & Shane Ray are eligible to return. Sports Illustrated’s Robert Klemko joins the show to talk about his article on Trevor Siemian, and says Trevor’s relationship with Peyton is crucial in Siemian’s NFL growth.

LISTEN TO HOUR ONE HERE!!!

DMac breaks down the King Soopers Fan Football Pick ‘Em and Mike Evans is ashamed to come on The Drive after losing. Al & DMac decide just who the NY Giants are, and what they plan to do at WR, including if they should give Chad Johnson & Terrell Owens a call. DMac supports Trevor Siemian, and mentions an article written about him in Sports Illustrated & his continued relationship with Peyton Manning. In the Big 3 @ 3:30, DMac highlights Roger Goodell’s memo to all 32 NFL teams on how everyone can get on the same page about standing or kneeling for the National Anthem. Al says the Adrian Peterson trade makes a lot of football sense, and DMac wonders about the D-Backs protecting their pool so the Dodgers don’t jump in it. Also, Al asks DMac about Nuggets attendance, and if things will get better at Pepsi Center. DMac says die-hard Nuggets fans will be happy to know Denver is built similar to how Golden State’s roster was constructed. Boomer Esiason joins the show to say he would do anything for former teammate Alfred Williams. DMac figures out the mental state of New York according to Boomer, and Esiason says the most disappointing thing so far in NY has been the defense, as they’ve turned from dominant into a horror show. This will be a slaughter on Sunday night, Boomer says, and now there is a lack of personality with no healthy Odell Beckham Jr. Big Al wants to know why the Giants can’t defend the screen play, and Boomer notes NY is having troubles with their linebackers. Also, what Boomer is currently doing to help with cystic fibrosis in Houston & across America. Listen to the interview HERE!

LISTEN TO HOUR TWO HERE!!!

DMac says Greg Knapp was pulling for Trevor Siemian harder than Gary Kubiak even. Big Al says it’s all starting to make sense, and the guys discuss the final game of the regular season in ’16 when Kubiak left Siemian in there instead of going with Paxton. Cecil Lammey joins the show to tell DMac & Al about his interview with Shane Ray, and who he expects to be sent down once Jake Butt & Shane Ray are eligible to return. Cecil says Butt is a fine TE, and guys like Ahtyba Rubin & Kyle Peko are names to watch so the Broncos can activate Ray & Butt. Listen to the interview HERE! Sports Illustrated’s Robert Klemko joins the show to talk about his article on Trevor Siemian, and says Trevor’s relationship with Peyton is crucial in Siemian’s NFL growth. Robert says there is limited time to introduce an offense, and the QB job is about constant repetition. Paxton didn’t get the benefit of working with Peyton like Trevor did, and Robert says Siemian can make nearly any NFL throw although you wouldn’t know that watching him play at Northwestern. Also, Robert mentions Trevor’s happy & goofy personality, and how Trevor is good at saying things without making negative headlines. Listen to the interview HERE! Al & DMac debate next season, and if they would rather have Trevor Siemian or Eli Manning. Al says Eli is not the same guy Peyton is, and DMac says Eli’s two Super bowl rings get him into the Hall of Fame ahead of Philip Rivers.

LISTEN TO HOUR THREE HERE!!!

Big Al says money & opportunity talk when it comes to NFL free-agency, and DMac notes the remarkable journey of Trevor Siemian, and how close he was to not even being on the Broncos roster. DMac says Greg Knapp was the only coach pounding the table for Trevor, and now he’s the starting QB. We hear from some of the Broncos stars on Siemian’s leadership, and Al says there’s a difference in QB intelligence & leadership.
