The Rockies lose their one game Wild Card game against the Arizona Diamondbacks in a game Paul Goldschmidt called the best baseball game he has ever played in. The Diamondbacks are under fire as their manager was wearing an apple watch in an attempt to possibly steal signs in last night’s game. The guys look at The Rockies loss and wonder if the Broncos can learn anything from it. With Trevor Siemian being a 7th round pick, the guys wonder if fans should be cutting him some slack. Stoke says we have been spoiled a little with our quarterbacks in the past so Trevor I seems like a huge step down from what broncos fans are used to.
NBC Sports, Seth Everett joins the guys to talk about the MLB investigation against the Diamondbacks and their apple watch wearing in the Wild Card game last night. Cam Newton is under fire as he made a comment about a woman asking a question about routes. The guys have the full story. Zach asks Stoke if this Rockies season was a disappointment and Stoke says it wasn’t. The Wild Card game was as exciting as any baseball game and Stoke goes over what if scenarios.
Stoke says the Broncos need more explosive plays and better pass protection and they need to work on it over the bye week. Zach says The Broncos haven’t had a passing play over 29 yards since the Virgil Green catch week one against the Chargers. Stoke’s beef is with all the haters of the Rockies after what seemed to be a successful season. Stoke says he trust Trevor Siemian for now but he wants to see what he can do in the playoffs.
