It’s a Purple Wednesday and the guys kick off the show with the starting pitcher for tonight’s Wild Card game for the Rockies, Jon Gray. Stoke talks about his experience going to other cities and what it takes to win on the road. The guys talk about who the possible starter in left field is for tonight’s game. They agree that Gerrardo Parra deserves the nod. Denver Post’s Patrick Saunders calls in to give his take on the left field situation and Jon Gray’s mental state. Patrick says the one thing that keeps him from being a true ace is that he always has one bad inning. If Jon Gray can eliminate the one bad inning The Rockies have a good chance to win. Hear what Patrick said by clicking HERE
The guys kick off hour two with a text that said the Rockies will be good for years to come and tonight’s game does not really matter but Zach doesn’t agree. Brandon thinks it’s the worst way to look at sports. Vance joseph, Von Miller and Trevor Siemian are all at the podium live at Dove Valley and the guys react to what they hear. The line up is set and it looks like Gerrardo Parra will be starting in left field tonight.
The guys go live in Arizona with 98.7 FM and the guys roast their counter parts in AZ. The fellas do get serious about the game and ask what the guys in AZ might be scared of when it comes to the Rockies lineup. Stoke’s beef today is with the bottle popping extremes of the MLB. Zach says the celebrating when you lose feels weird.
