The Drive with Big Al & DMac LIVE in studio! Adam Schefter joins the show to distinguish the difference between a GIF and DFW when Von Miller uses it in context. The guys joke with Adam about serious tweets, and Adam gets serious about how The Decision went down in Denver. Cecil Lammey joins the show to talk about the calm that has spread amongst the team since Trevor Siemian was named the starter. Troy Renck joins the show to say it doesn’t matter that Siemian beat out Paxton Lynch, he’s got to play better.

LISTEN TO HOUR ONE HERE!!!

Not a good day for the Broncos third-stringers, but the Broncos are almost there, says Al. DMac asks who the Broncos should cut along the offensive line, and Al says he wanted Ty Sambrailo to work out, but nearly getting Siemian killed was the last straw. Also, the physical shape of Von Miller.  Adam Schefter joins the show to distinguish the difference between a GIF and DFW when Von Miller uses it in context. The guys joke with Adam about serious tweets, and Adam gets serious about how The Decision went down in Denver. DMac remembers the exact day that Paxton played better than Trevor in camp, and Adam says that wasn’t enough to pry the job away from Siemian. Adam says Vance Joseph was in no position to name Lynch the starter after everything the Broncos saw this preseason. Adam says it doesn’t matter to him that Denver moved up in the first round to grab Paxton, they must go forward with the best QB at the helm. Listen to the interview HERE! Al thinks the hit on Odell Beckham Jr. last night was just dirty, not just football. DMac mentions the looming work stoppage/lockout in the NFL due to payroll and what NFL players are making compared to athletes in the NBA.

LISTEN TO HOUR TWO HERE!!!

Big Al says he put in the work & did the running, but was never the best athlete on the team. Al says he was willing to skip the nonsense in high school & stay focused on studies & getting better. DMac wonders why Paxton didn’t spend more time in Denver & try to organize a passing camp instead of working with his expert in Florida. Cecil Lammey joins the show to talk about the calm that has spread amongst the team since Trevor Siemian was named the starter. Cecil says there is now time to establish a rhythm with the offense, and that calm influence was important to establish if the Broncos are going to make a run at the postseason. Also, Big Al & Cecil discuss smaller guys that can make you miss, like DeAngelo Henderson & Darren Sproles. Listen to the interview HERE! The guys talk about minimum wage & how much they made working jobs back in the day. DMac says it’s remarkable the opportunity Paxton Lynch just blew, and Big Al mentions the importance of opening up a defense with your eyes. Troy Renck joins the show to say it doesn’t matter that Siemian beat out Paxton Lynch, he’s got to play better. Big Al says Allen Barbre has seized momentum coming off the 49ers game, and DMac says we now have a little wiggle room to keep Jamaal Charles. Troy mentions the Broncos don’t want to guarantee Charles’ money, then turn around & activate Booker. Also, Troy talks about how the schedule sets up well for Charles, because he will ask the team to cut him before all rosters are cut down to 53 guys. Listen to the interview HERE!

LISTEN TO HOUR THREE HERE!!!

Gary Kubiak’s offense compared to the players that were out there, what got a Super Bowl won in Denver for Super Bowl 50? Big Al tinkers with the Broncos tanking the season & lining up for a top draft pick. Trevor Siemian makes one of the lowest yearly salaries for NFL quarterbacks, and Al thinks about having his deal re-done now. Big Al is still keeping an eye on Ramczyk as to whether Bolles is a bust in the first round. Also, Al asks DMac if he’s seen what Dalvin Cook’s been doing, and the guys take calls on if Kyle Sloter is a better quarterback than Paxton Lynch.
