The Drive with Big Al & DMac LIVE in studio! Cecil Lammey joins the show & wonders why Paxton Lynch hasn’t done this sooner. Mike Pritchard joins the show to say Paxton truly did look good today in drills, and it was a real practice with pads & everything. Mike knows Bennie Fowler can play, and DMac tells his Big Al was considering cutting Fowler to make room for Cody Latimer.

LISTEN TO HOUR ONE HERE!!!

Dmac asks Al what he thinks about Paxton’s big day, and Al starts to wonder if Paxton doesn’t get a starting look for Preseason Week 3 against the Packers. DMac thinks something might be wrong with Jamaal Charles, and defends The Drive from being called a smear campaign against Paxton Lynch. Al says he’s been talking about the Broncos starting their first-round draft pick all offseason. Big Al says the Broncos just wanted Paxton Lynch to be Jameis Winston, and DMac says it would have been nice & who wouldn’t. Dmac is worried about all the questionable players the Broncos have right now. No Whitehouse invitation to the Warriors, and Big Al says he is excited for the Floyd Mayweather vs. Conor McGregor bout this weekend. The guys agree that Paul Millsap camp in Atlanta goes to show that he is the leader the Nuggets were looking for, and maybe Paxton & Trevor should take note on the way Paul is doing things. Cecil Lammey joins the show & wonders why Paxton Lynch hasn’t done this sooner. Cecil notes that a pass didn’t hit the ground that he saw, and mentions his conflict of emotions after seeing Paxton’s potential & hearing that Paxton is set up to have a major day in San Francisco on Saturday. Also, we hear audio from John Elway responding to Cecil’s question about Paxton taking a while longer to leap. Listen to the interview HERE!

LISTEN TO HOUR TWO HERE!!!

Dmac says once Paxton is in, he’s in for good, and asks Big Al what QB situation in the NFL is quite like ours here in Denver. Al suggests Cleveland, but DeShone Kizer is on the rise in the preseason. Mike Pritchard joins the show to say Paxton truly did look good today in drills, and it was a real practice with pads & everything. Mike knows Bennie Fowler can play, and DMac tells his Big Al was considering cutting Fowler to make room for Cody Latimer. Fowler may start against San Francisco with Sanders’ shoulder a little banged up, and Mike agrees with the guys that wouldn’t be the worst thing in the world & he would feel good about Fowler as a starter. Listen to the interview HERE! Also, The Rockies drop another game to the Braves, and DMac says this is not a series the Rockies can lose if they hope to make a wildcard playoff appearance. Kickoff returns are discussed, and DMac is beginning to like Kalif Raymond’s chances of making the team.

LISTEN TO HOUR THREE HERE!!!

What will it take for Paxton to cement his job as the starter? Big Al says if the two QBs are even, then Paxton is leaving San Francisco as the starter moving forward. Al says you are what you watch, even when it comes to Hard Knocks. Big Al tells DMac he loves watching old preseason games, because he learns something new every time he watches them, and DMac is shocked to hear Al is in love with Dak Prescott. The guys discuss Paxton & Trevor as team captains, and DMac wonders if Paxton was ever named a captain in college. Also, a caller mentions Shane Ray as a possible bust, and DMac says QBs taken high in the first round must play.
