Von Miller among trio of 99-overall rated players in ‘Madden 18’

Denver Broncos pass rusher Von Miller said in May that he feels every year that it’ll be the best year of his career.
“I feel like this season will be my best season yet,” Miller said of the 2017 campaign.
That’s in real life. In virtual reality, Miller’s already at the top of his game.
Ahead of its annual release on Aug. 25, EA Sports has revealed the ratings for a handful of position groups in the upcoming ‘Madden NFL 18’ video game, wherein Miller grades out a 99-overall.
The rating is one of just three among all players in the game, as Miller joins New England Patriots quarterback Tom Brady and Los Angeles Rams defensive end Aaron Donald.
It also puts Miller ahead of Oakland Raiders linebacker Khalil Mack (97), who beat out the Broncos star by one vote in the 2016 Defensive Player of the Year voting.
Among Miller’s attributes, he has a 91 Power Move, a 97 Finesse Move, a 95 Block Shedding, and a 98 Pursuit.
“His skills and ratings are just not matched, hence his spot in Club 99,” according to the description for Miller on the EA Sports post.
Miller isn’t the only high-scoring Broncos players. Both Aqib Talib and Chris Harris Jr earned 94-overall ratings, the best among all cornerbacks in the game, and fullback Andy Janovich came at an 82-overall rating, good enough for fifth among all fullbacks.
‘Madden NFL 18’ comes out for PlayStation 4 and Xbox One on Aug. 25.
