The Drive with DMac & Zach Bye LIVE in studio! Zach tells DMac Kyrie Irving will be in the basketball HOF, but will never be Batman & is best as a side-piece. There is a paradigm shift in the midst with the NBA, as DMac & Zach notice Minnesota going from no-man’s land to Western Conference superpower. Broncos Training Camp ’17 is set to begin, and Zach hints at Vance Joseph increasing the sample size for either Trevor or Paxton. DMac is dumbfounded as to why the Broncos coaching staff has no interest in virtual reality, and the fan base begins to split over who Denver should go with at QB.
The guys talk working mornings like Schlereth & Evans, and what’s gotten into Kyrie Irving wanting out of Cleveland. DMac asks Zach the number of Finals appearances Bron took the Cavs to, and the guys share stories about being 14 years old & using their press-pass to their advantage. Zach warns the listeners about the dangers of the first-base line at Coors Field, and the guys debate the biggest matchup on the Broncos’ schedule. Hugh Freeze seems to have been using the work phone at Ole Miss for something else, and Zach says Kyrie is a selfless leader with a destination in mind.
