‘The Drive’: Sanders tweet about Tebow ‘classless,’ ‘tacky’

A tweet hailing from Broncos wide receiver Emmanuel Sanders regarding a former Denver quarterback Tim Tebow has caught the ire of the internet, along with that of “The Drive” hosts Alfred Williams and DMac.
In a post Tuesday afternoon to the social media site, Sanders seemingly took a shot at Tebow, who has proclaimed himself a virgin since being asked the question during SEC media days in 2009.
“Me and bros are having a convo… we are debating whether or not @TimTebow is still a virgin?”

And the remarks drew criticism from not only Twitter users but also Big Al and DMac, who both called the post “classless.”
“To do that is just out of character for somebody that’s participating in the league to … I just think it’s wrong,” Williams said.
Said DMac: “I thought this was one of the most classless, jerky, bizarre things I’ve seen from a Broncos player in a long time.”
Williams said the remarks show a level of “immaturity” with Sanders, and are something that could cause havoc in a good locker room.
DMac echoed the sentiment, saying, “Emmanuel Sanders professes he wants to be a leader. And I would say, before you can become a leader, you need to grow up.”
Here’s a sampling of replies to Sander’s post:
Disappointed in this tweet, #10 you have kids looking up to you as a role model.

My girlfriends and I are having a convo... we concluded, real men don't sit around debating whether another dude is a still a virgin or not.
