Troy Renck is in for Brandon again today. The guys dive into the quarterback battle and Troy says that if Paxton is better than Trevor he needs to just go be better. With a new coaching staff and offense it’s anyone’s position to win. Zach asks Troy how the quarterback competition affects other offensive players. Zach and Troy talk about what might happen to whichever quarterback loses the job.
Zach gets a text from a listener asking what John Elway thinks about Trevor Siemian and Troy responds. If The Broncos move on from a first round pick, does it mean they missed on a pick? The guys discuss. Troy compares an NFL team to a fortune 500 company. The Rockies could be looking to move some players around to get help out of the bullpen. They have contacted an American League team inquiring about a couple relievers. Zach find out that Troy is a huge wrestling fan and they get into their favorite characters from the WWF. Troy answers questions about what to do with Carlos Gonzalez.
The final hour kicks off with the biggest competition besides the quarterback that The Broncos are facing. The TE’s, RB’s, and third WR battles are also heating up. There are five other coaches in The NFL that are starting their head coaching careers so Zach and Troy rank Vance Joseph’s situation with other new coaches.
