Nuggets President of Basketball Operations Tim Connelly joins The Drive to talk about close games lost last year & the uphill battle Denver frequently faced in the second half. Connelly highlights moments of disappointment & moments to be proud of, as he watches Gary Harris put up shots at the Pepsi Center. Al asks Tim about filling gaps next season, and Tim mentions the importance of FA’s Danilo Gallinari & Mason Plumlee. Denver is a team built organically that can only hope for a monster like KD to sign here, and Tim says the market determines a player’s value. Also, Connelly’s thoughts on super-teams & that time Nurkic made him walk home in the cold Portland rain.
