Friday’s show the guys talk about the Rockies coming back home after a successful road trip and the Broncos wrapping up OTAs for this week yesterday. Hour one Cecil Lammey and Frank Schwab go into the Rockies taking two of three from the Phillies this past week as they now head home. The guys discuss how the Rockies were able to head on the road and continue their hot streak to begin the season through almost 8 weeks. The fellas talk about what’s next for the Rockies now and what has impressed them the most. The guys break that down and much more relating to the Rockies.
Cecil Lammey and Frank Schwab then talk about Broncos OTAs this week. The guys give some of their overall takeaways from this week as the Broncos quarterback battle starts to heat up. The guys break down the Broncos quarterback battle this off-season and what factors might lead to either Trevor Siemian or Paxton Lynch being named as the teams starting quarterback. The fellas also look at Mike McCoy taking over the Broncos offense.
Hour two Patrick Saunders from The Denver Post joined Cecil Lammey and Frank Schwab. Patrick talks about the Rockies taking their road series with the Phillies this past week. Patrick then weighs in on if the Rockies have a chance to win the NL West this season and why it may come down to the final series of the season. Patrick then discusses the Rockies upcoming series against the St. Louis Cardinals and which starters they will through out their this weekend.
