The Broncos get back to work: Stokley & Zach

Stokley and Zach 05/23/2017- OTAs are on the main stage and the evaluations begin today. Who is taking first team reps and who isn’t? Fan Broncos insider, Cecil Lammey joined the program.

Broncos kicked off OTAs today and so did Stokley and Zach. The guys dive into who is on the first team and who has to wait their turn to get more reps. Broncos second year receiver Kalif Raymond and newly acquired running back, Jamaal Charles were left off the squad for today. Vance Joseph was at the podium after the first day of OTAs and we have it for you here.

The guys react to Broncos head coach, Vance Joseph’s press conference today from the first day of OTAs at Dove Valley. As the fellas break down the presser, we find out how Vance feels about the rookies and special teams. Stokley and Zach also have both competing Broncos quarterbacks live from Dove Valley via denverbroncos.com. Closing out hour two the guys react to the quarterbacks and what they feel might be the most important phases of OTAs.

The final hour starts with John Elway supporting different offensive lineman and giving us a run around at left tackle. Vance Joseph is basically saying the rookies need to earn their reps even if its during OTAs. Zach goes over the previous first round draft picks for the Broncos and where they are now. So far, Von is the only first round pick that has performed well. Stokley thinks that at some point you need to give the younger guys a chance and possibly let the older guys take a back seat.
