Broncos OTA’s kicking off tomorrow: Stokley and Zach

The guys start off Monday with The Broncos OTA’s starting Tuesday and Brandon Stokley gives the rookies advice on the first day of work. Zach Bye brings up how well the Rockies are doing after another big series win in Cincinnati and thinks that Rockies closer, Greg Holland, could be the biggest free agent pick up in Denver since Peyton Manning. Carlos Gonzalez hit his 200th HR with The Rockies on Sunday and hes moving closer to Rockies history. What does Carlos Henderson need to do in order to be a slot receiver in this NFL offense? The guys dive into that, plus more with the Broncos OTA’s starting Tuesday.
Stokley and Zach get into the quarterbacks and who’s team it is to lose in hour two. Brandon Stokley says we need a better look at what Paxton can do before we can judge his talent. Cecil Lammey joins the guys to dive into this 50/50 quarterback controversy. Zach Bye asks if throwing in a less capable guy in order to see if he can sink or swim is worth it. Will Garrett Bolles be with out there the first team on day one? The Rockies take another series and Zach Bye thinks they’re not getting enough credit especially after the power rankings were released this morning.
In the final hour, the guys talk about what to expect as a rookie as OTA’s get underway in Dove Valley on Tuesday. Zach Bye gets insight from Stokley on hazing and where the line is drawn. Zach and Brandon talk about how Peyton Manning sent an apology letter to a recently retired official (Butch Hannah) after a game in which he blew up on him against the Miami Dolphins. Which NFL quarterbacks drafted in the first round have started and not succeeded since their first year? Too many to name here but Zach goes through them all.
