The guys ask Denver Post Rockies Beat Writer Patrick Saunders about the awkward check swing in the Twins game last night, and Tony Wolters coming back from concussion. Concentration seemed to be on the batter being called out & not finishing the play, Saunders says, and Al gets Patrick’s thoughts on Charlie Blackmon not profiling like a leadoff hitter. Saunders says only teams with a surplus of sluggers have the luxury that the Rockies & other teams like the Cubs have. Also, Patrick mentions Charlie Blackmon was previously a prototypical leadoff hitter before he go so strong in recent years.
