Hour one Zach Bye and Brandon Stokley talk about the Rockies beating the Twins last night in game one of their three game series in Minnesota. The guys break down what the Rockies were able to do last night against Phil Hughes and the Twins. The fellas discuss the Rockies lineup and Charlie Blackmon’s big home run late in the game to extend the Rockies lead to four runs. The guys talk about what’s next for the Rockies in game two and how they have maintained their hot start at the start of the season.
For the rest of hour one Zach Bye and Brandon Stokley weigh in on the draft this season and if the Broncos have changed the way teams look at the draft. The guys give their thoughts on that and then turn their attention to John Elway’s contract. The fellas break down why a new deal hasn’t been struck with Elway yet.
Hour two Zach Bye and Brandon Stokley talk about the Broncos and their recent 2nd round picks from past seasons. The guys break down which former 2nd round pick might turn it around this season. Brandon Stokley talks about which player he thinks might have a good season this year and turn things around. Zach Bye then gives his thoughts as well and why he thinks his certain player will turn things around.
Our Fan Broncos Insider Cecil Lammey joined Sandy Clough. Cecil Lammey talks about the Broncos offense. Cecil Lammey goes into the Broncos offensive scheme and just how much shotgun they will use this year. Cecil also discusses just how involved Andy Janovich will be this season if he makes the teams final roster out of training camp. Cecil finishes the interview by talking about the Broncos offensive line and how the chips might fall this season. Zach Bye agrees and gives his reasoning to why he also feels that John Elway will need to find a quarterback and win a Super Bowl without Manning to cement his legacy as a GM for the Broncos.
For the rest of hour three Zach Bye and Brandon Stokley talk more about if the Broncos molded the draft at all this year and in years past. The guys look at if other teams have followed the Broncos in drafting the same way the Broncos have. The fellas finish the show by talking about some other news from around the NBA and sports.
