Stokley & Zach – 04/20/2017 – Brandon Stokley and Zach Bye live in studio. Thursday’s show the guys talk about the Broncos quarterback situation and the upcoming NFL schedule release tonight. Our Fan Broncos Insider Cecil Lammey both joined the show.

Hour one Zach Bye and Brandon Stokley talk about comments made by Rex Ryan this morning on with Schlereth and Evans. The guys play back some of Ryan’s comments on the Broncos quarterback situation. Rex Ryan talked about both Trevor Siemian and Paxton Lynch this season. The guys then reacted to those comments. Brandon Stokley talks about why he’s not willing to put Siemian in the journeyman category yet. Brandon Stokley also explains why it’s too early to label either quarterback for the Broncos right now. Zach Bye also gives some of his thoughts on the issue.

For the rest of hour one the guys discuss the Broncos opener against the Chargers this season. The fellas then weigh in on what else they want to see on the Broncos schedule when it’s released tonight. The guys talk about that and much more going forward.

Hour two Zach Bye and Brandon Stokley jump back into comments made by Rex Ryan this morning and the Broncos quarterback battle moving forward this off-season. The guys break down what will play into the situation including the Broncos locker room. The fellas discuss whether or not the Broncos locker room favors one guy or the other in the quarterback competition. Brandon Stokley breaks down if any of his locker rooms he played in ever favored a player or the other. Zach Bye also gives some of his thoughts on the issue.

Our Fan Broncos Insider Cecil Lammey joined Stokley & Zach. Cecil Lammey first goes into the Broncos quarterback conversation and what Rex Ryan had to say this morning about the Broncos quarterbacks. Hour three Zach Bye and Brandon Stokley talk about if John Elway or Vance Joseph want to prove that their right with starting either quarterback Paxton Lynch or Trevor Siemian. The guys debate if that’s the case at all this next season. Brandon Stokley goes into how he doesn’t think that’s the case and that the Broncos want to start the best quarterback on the team. Brandon Stokley does agree though that front offices have their guys that they want to see succeed. Zach Bye poses the question again and goes into his reasoning on the subjecy.
