Joe Mixon, Jose Canseco and players with a rap sheet are spotlighted, and DMac brings up the topic of concussions to Chad, saying there are dangerous elements to every sport.
Cecil Lammey joins the show to talk about the possibility of Rey Maualuga coming to the Broncos, and the devastating Trevone Boykin news opening the door for Colin Kaepernick to Seattle. Cecil gauges how much of a pain a backup QB could possibly be, and if it makes a difference that Kaepernick will stand for the National Anthem now. Listen to the interview HERE! Also, distraction tactics and how teams could discriminate due to political beliefs. Chad says no backup QB, even Tim Tebow, should ever make waves on an NFL roster, and DMac says Kaepernick is not a bad guy. Mike Klis joins the guys to say Elway & Joseph communicate by email, and predicts what will happen the first time Tony Romo gets hit. Listen to the interview HERE!
Mike Pritchard joins the show to say he feels bad for Oakland, but they are quietly celebrating in Las Vegas. Many are excited about the Broncos playing in Vegas, and Oakland didn’t do enough to help their team. Pritchard mentions the last-ditch effort from the Mayor, and no income tax in Vegas. Pritchard tells Chad about the nickels and dimes funding the new stadium instead of being spent on education. Listen to the interview HERE! Also, how Las Vegas can re-invent itself through offering more than gambling, and how UNLV can benefit as well. The guys take calls from Las Vegas and Oakland natives to get perspective.
