Nate Zelinsky of Tightline Outdoors joins Terry to talk about spring pike. Terry gives Nate shotgun pointers, and Nate says there are great resources in the outdoors. Terry mentions that pike are taking off, and Nate talks about the early season for walleye pre-spawn this year. Nate says normally, pike season begins mid-May, and encourages the mindset of preparing for an aggressive fish. Nate preaches a large bait with a slow presentation, and says this is the first year with good opportunities for large fish, and even a shot at a state record at 11-Mile. Also, Nate says pike are a nightmare to catch in a spawn.
