Brandon Stokley – 03/15/2017 – Cecil Lammey sitting in alongside Brandon Stokley live from The Blake Street Tavern. Wednesday’s show the guys talk about their own Broncos bracket, the first round of the NFL Draft and some of the Broncos new additions.

Hour one Cecil Lammey and Brandon Stokley talk about whether or not Tony Romo’s status will affect the Broncos draft status. The guys look at the latest with Tony Romo and if the ongoing uncertainty with Romo will impact the way the Broncos look at the first round of the draft this year. Brandon Stokley gives his thoughts on why the Broncos shouldn’t be waiting and why the future of Tony Romo should not impact at all how the Broncos approach the NFL Draft this year. Cecil Lammey also gives his thoughts and gives some reasons for why whether it’s Romo or no Romo the Broncos should look at the draft without thinking of their quarterback position.

For the rest of hour two Cecil Lammey and Brandon Stokley go over there first round match ups in their Broncos first round prospect bracket. Brandon Stokley explains why out of the eight prospects he has the four he chose to move on to the second round. Cecil Lammey also discusses his thoughts on some of the first round prospects in this year’s NFL Draft.

Hour two Cecil Lammey and Brandon Stokley talk about whether the Broncos should think about trading up or down in the upcoming NFL Draft. Cecil Lammey goes over what the positives and negatives would be if the Broncos tried to trade up in the draft. Brandon Stokley weighs in on that and what that would mean for the Broncos prospects of possibly drafting a player like Christian McCaffrey in the first round. Cecil Lammey then goes into the positives and negatives of possibly trading down in the NFL Draft. Brandon Stokley again gives some counter points and his thoughts on why he wouldn’t want the Broncos to trade down unless they’re still able to grab an impact player.

Cecil Lammey and Brandon Stokley then go back to their Broncos draft bracket. The guys look at the second round matchups and go through who they have moing onto the championship round. Brandon Stokley explains why he picked the two final players that he did. Cecil Lammey also gives his thoughts and goes through the two prospects he has going onto the next round in their Broncos bracket.

Hour three Cecil Lammey and Brandon Stokley the guys go into what will be more meaningful for the Broncos this season the teams free agent additions or who they will take in the NFL Draft. Brandon Stokley first goes into his thoughts on the issue and why it will depend on if the Broncos can draft an impact type player in the first round of the NFL Draft. Cecil goes over the teams offensive line additions and why Ronald Leary will make a big impact. Cecil does end up agreeing though that the team could draft a big impact player in the first round of the NFL Draft. The fellas break that down and more!

For the rest of hour three Cecil Lammey and Brandon Stokley finish up their Broncos prospect bracket in spirit of the NCAA Tournament getting started this week. Brandon Stokley gives his championship player and why the Broncos should take this player with their first round pick at number 20 overall. Cecil Lammey debates that and weighs in with his own bracket results.
