The Drive with DMac & Tyler Polumbus LIVE in studio. Earl Boykins joins the show to say Paul George was comfortable in Indiana and the Eastern Conference. Tyler says Okung was the new kid on the block, and the guys remember the fight in the locker room between Talib & Okung after the loss to New England. Mike Klis joins the show & says Okung was arguably the Broncos best run-blocker and a move to right tackle for Okung is not out of the question.
DMac is jealous of the young players in the NBA like Mudiay & Jokic. Tyler gives some insight on drafting foreign players in the second round of the NBA draft & the ability to hold on to their rights for longer periods. DMac revels in the Syracuse buzzer-beater over Duke last night at the Carrier Dome. Tyler asks Earl Boykins how salary cap deals like Roy Hibbert’s work and why Paul George wouldn’t want to be with the Nuggets long term. Earl is excited about Charles Oakley coaching Chauncey’s team in Earl’s 3v3 league.
Russell Okung likely moving on, and DMac asks Tyler how many guys he knows that represent themselves. Tyler says Okung was the new kid on the block, and the guys remember the fight in the locker room between Talib & Okung after the loss to New England. DMac wonders if there is a name out there better than Russell Okung on the market. Mike Klis joins the show & says Okung was arguably the Broncos best run-blocker and a move to right tackle for Okung is not out of the question. Also, Broncos not yet done with Stephenson & want to put Sambrailo in the weight room. Listen to the interview HERE!
DMac tells Tyler that Lawrence Phillips would have never come back in today’s NFL. DMac says watch what happens with the CU Buffs latest situation, after Coach McIntyre reported the allegations to Rick George, but not the police. Tyler & DMac scratch their heads at how someone could get a promotion in the middle of these accusations. In the Closing Bell, the guys laugh about Tom Brady wiping out on a ski jump and Jameis Winston never circles back to give the ladies their props.
