The question comes up about Siemian even being around if Tony Romo or Tyrod Taylor are in Broncos camp battling for a job. Cecil Lammey tells DMac & Tyler a move for Tyrod or Tony would signal the end of Trevor here in Denver.
The guys figure out the basics of email & Starbucks coffee makers. Tyler checks in on the Colorado Sports Football Hall of Fame & asks Cherry Creek is honoring him, or if it’s simply in the works. The intentional walk rule in Major League Baseball is changed, and DMac & Tyler discuss whether they should have kept the current rules. Raj Sharan is brought in to discuss the value of Tyrod Taylor & if he will be dumped by Buffalo Bills.
The problem with Tyrod Taylor an the beauty in the unknown with Trevor Siemian & Paxton Lynch. DMac tells Tyler they need Cecil to explain an emotional day after Schlereth was in the giving spirit. The guys laugh about the Brock Osweiler trash can walking around at Super Bowl 51. Cecil says the Texans have the most interesting QB situation this off-season. Memories of the final days of Peyton Manning. DMac remembers when Peyton got here, and the Star Wars numbers that shortly followed. The guys agree Broncos Super Bowl 48 run was one of extremes, and disappointing to see end. Elway set a tone in Denver, and John Fox simply couldn’t get it done. DMac also thinks Manning hurt his foot against the Colts & never should have started the Chiefs game at home just to allow fans to see him break the passing yardage record.
