The Drive with DMac & Tyler Polumbus LIVE in studio. DMac is still down about the Avalanche, and misses when the Avs were in the NHL Finals. TMZ uncovers a juicy story about Emmanuel Sanders skipping practice, and DMac & Tyler are there to break it down & reflect. Cecil Lammey joins the show to shed tears over the loss of Adam Peters with DMac & Tyler. Cecil mentions the Broncos good group of scouts picking up the few pieces to keep a well-built staff together. Troy Renck joins the guys to talk about Emmanuel Sanders’ latest actions & how prepared the team is to move on.
The guys talk DMac missing out on Alcatraz & having his flight delayed, as well as youth sports. DMac & Tyler feel for passionate Avs fans. Sanders skips Broncos practice for an alleged side piece according to TMZ & DMac takes a tour of AT&T Park. How the Broncos decide to deal with Sanders’ new situation is put under a microscope. DMac gets stuck in the airport. Jake Plummer used to chew, Kyle Orton drives a Prius & Jay Cutler got along with no one. Tyler admits he is biased on Jay Cutler because they had a moment with gifts, and DMac jabs at Tyler by saying he didn’t play much in Super Bowl 50. The guys laugh about Joel Dreessen not knowing whether he was starting or not in the Super Bowl. The NBA All-Star Game trends down for DMac, and he even calls it a joke. Tyler says the dunk contest and other events help the NBA All-Star Game remain more entertaining than the NFL Pro-Bowl. Also, Tyler previews what’s in store for his guest appearance tomorrow morning on Schlereth & Evans.
