The Drive with Big Al & DMac LIVE in studio talk about the “why not us” slogan and Iginla probably moving on. DMac is disappointed, and asks Al if the Nuggets are done trading. Broncos Insider Cecil Lammey joins the show to talk about the upcoming NFL combine. Cecil will be reporting LIVE from Indianapolis next week, and shocks DMac with some Chad Kelly news. Draymond takes a shot at James Dolan & McIntyre’s contract put on hold. Matt Stephens, Sports Editor of The Coloradoan in Fort Collins joins the show to talk about the latest allegations surrounding Larry Eustachy.
DMac mentions the scary-good players the Minnesota Timberwolves have that could cause the Nuggets some problems. Al says Karl Anthony-Towns is one of his favorite players. Troubles with the Broncos offensive line are highlighted and the guys come up with answers in the draft & free agency. The guys mention Mike McIntyre’s sticky situation and what he could have done differently. Paying McIntyre all that money is questioned by a caller, and DMac & Al discuss his thoughts on the matter. DMac mentions some of the horrifying details of the restraining order against Joe Tumpkin and Al talks about things McIntyre could have done differently. Draymond Green has some thoughts on James Dolan, and a slave mentality is even brought up by Draymond. Al says Broncos should go get Ryan Clady.
The overall vibe on free agents in the NFL, all eyes on Sefo & Christian at the combine, and Al loves Sproles. Tyler Polumbus joins the show to tell Big Al & DMac he knows Clady well, and bringing him back to Denver is an intriguing option.
