Blue Sky Cup founders Jim Nollsch and Hayden Fisher join DMac

For the past six years, teams of skiers have converged on the slopes of Vail for a day of fun and endurance, trying to ski 40,000-plus vertical feet for a good cause: raising money for rheumatoid arthritis research.

The Blue Sky Cup is a friendly competition and fundraiser that pits teams of four skiers against each other to attack the entire mountain, skiing every lift in the Back Bowls and completing other tasks while trying to hit as many vertical feet for the day as possible.

Sports Radio 104.3 The Fan’s DMac, co-host of “The Drive with Big Al and DMac,” was joined by the event’s co-founders Jim Nollsch and Hayden Fisher to give some background on the event and the great cause it supports.

This year’s Blue Sky Cup will take place on Feb. 10 in Vail. More information on how to sign up and this great event can be found at www.blueskycup.ski.
