The Drive LIVE with Big Al and DMac welcome in Cecil Lammey and Chad Brown in studio to help us break down and dive into what exactly is going on with C.J. Anderson’s knee, as C.J. is in Los Angeles getting a second opinion on how injured he really is. Also, Earl Boykins comes in to talk some hoops as tonight is the Nuggets’ season opener, in New Orleans.
The Drive LIVE with Big Al and DMac get the show rolling talking about today’s biggest news, C.J. Anderson is pursuing a second opinion on the bone bruise in his right knee. The fellas then talk about A.J. Derby and the type of impact he will have on the team, as early as this week against San Diego. The Big Three at 3:30 brings in Earl Boykins and brings up last night’s World Series Game 1, Arian Foster’s retirement, Golden State getting drubbed by San Antonio and the Go Fund Me page created to buy out Brock Osweiler’s contract. The first hour wraps up with the fellas talking NBA with Earl as the season officially opened up last night, with the Cavs getting their rings and their first win on the season.
Football at Four gets going with Big Al and DMac juggling the thought of athletes getting second opinions on their injuries from Doctors outside of the organization they’re working for. Alfred says it’s common practice, a smart practice in fact. C.J. Anderson’s boo, Cecil Lammey, our Broncos Insider joins the show to talk about C.J.’s injury, what it means for this Broncos offense and who’s expected to step up and fill the void. Derby and why exactly would the Patriots trade a player to the Broncos? It doesn’t make sense. The Closing Bell rings on the city of Cleveland for last night’s sports events (getting the NBA Championship rings AND winning Game 1 of the World series. Trending down are the idiots that broke into DeMarcus Ware’s house (they were caught) and Jon Lester from last night.
