The Drive LIVE with Big Al and DMac on VICTORY TUESDAY! As the Broncos beat ol’ buddy Brock and the Houston Texans last night… today, the team made a move, trading a draft pick to the Patriots for Tight End A.J. Derby. The fellas speculate why the team decided to trade for that position, looking at Jeff Heuerman and Virgil Green in particular. The fellas look at the overall health of the team as Demaryius Thomas was spotted with a significant limp as the game was wrapping up. The Big Three at 3:30 brings up the Texans and the possibility of benching Brock Osweiler, the Broncos Offensive Line’s play last night and we hear from Gary Kubiak about letting the time run out in the first half, instead of being aggressive. Tyler Polumbus joins the show to talk about last night’s Broncos game. Tyler focused on how Russell Okung has been playing, having bad hand placement. Breaking news happens as the Broncos have cut Shiloh Keo.
Football at Four underway with Tyler Polumbus in studio with Big Al and DMac as the fellas take a look at the two starting Quarterbacks from last night Broncos/Texans game, comparing Trevor Siemian and Brock Osweiler and how they perform in certain situations. Next question, should Devontae Booker be starting over C.J. Anderson? Next, the guys talk about the broadcasters from Monday Night Football as Alfred really isn’t a fan of Sean McDonough. Troy Renck from Channel 7 joins the show to help shine some light on this trade with the Patriots today, bringing A.J. Derby to Denver. The fellas also dive into Game 1 of the World Series taking place tonight in Cleveland between the Indians and Cubs. Listen to our conversation with Troy HERE!
The third and final hour underway with Big Al and DMac going over Big Al’s Top 5 plays from last night’s Broncos victory over the Texans. We hear from Coach Kubiak and C.J. Anderson regarding the Broncos run game and if Devontae Booker is a welcome piece, taking carries away from Anderson and how big of a role he’ll continue to have in the offense. The Closing Bell rings on the Broncos and their Offensive Line as trending up. Trending down is DeMarcus Ware’s house being robbed and Jeff Heuerman after the trade for A.J. Derby today.
