The Drive with Big Al and DMac move one day closer to the Broncos’ Sunday match-up with the Tampa Bay Buccaneers. We are joined by 9NEWS’ Broncos Insider Mike Klis as they discuss the comments made today by Emmanuel Sanders, calling himself a Diva. We also bid our intern, Joel Hunt, a fond farewell as today is his final day with us here on The Drive.
The Drive LIVE in studio with Big Al and DMac gets going with the fellas talking about the difference between coffee brewed at home compared to bought at a store. Shifting gears, the fellas take the time to say farewell to our “Charlie,” Joel Hunt. There was a trespassing incident at Dove Valley earlier this week that has changed security protocol out there. The Big Three at 3:30 brings up Postseason Baseball is heating up, the Buccaneers Defense and Josh Gordon entering rehab. Mike Klis from 9NEWS joins the show to talk Darian Stewart, Trevor Siemian and how he’s fitting in with his teammates and Emmanuel Sanders being a “diva.” Listen to our chat with Mike HERE!
Football at Four underway with DMac raising the question, with all this Emmanuel Sanders “diva” talk, who is the biggest diva here at The Fan? The fellas bring in Raj to find out what he thinks! Getting to Football, the Buccaneers sent out a release that has their record 1-3, predicting a loss to the Broncos. The hour wraps up with DMac pointing out that Gary Kubiak has practice and activities scheduled every day like they’re playing an 11:00 am game. Practice early so they’re not thrown off by travel.
The third and final hour underway with Alfred asking if DMac knows who the AFC Player of the Month was because Von Miller was the AFC Defensive Player of the Month. We hear from Coach Kubiak about Jameis Winston as DMac thinks we’re seeing more of the “Peyton Maning” offense creep into this Gary Kubiak offense this season. The Closing Bell rings on Von Miller holding his teammates accountable, Brandon Marshall apologizing for how he acted towards Brian Dawkins and the Broncos as trending up. Trending down is Dez Bryant for not showing up on time to an MRI and treatments and Draymond Green for his comments about fans. We wrap the show with Big Al sharing Chris Simms’ comments about Blake Bortles.
