With the Broncos having a day off today, Big Al and DMac touch base with Cecil Lammey and Tyler Polumbus to look back at the Bengals game and the weekend that was in the NFL.
The Drive LIVE in studio with Big Al and DMac the the show kicked off talking about Alfred’s bike ride to work today, around Cherry Creek State Park. Then, we shift into reviewing last week’s AFC West performance and they begin to take a look at the Broncos’ next opponent, the Tampa Bay Buccaneers. The Big Three at 3:30 brings up Jose Fernandez’s passing and that the Tampa Bay Buccaneers have the worst Defense in the league. Cecil Lammey, our Broncos Insider, joins the show to help us get an idea who we should be watching for as the Broncos get ready for the Tampa Bay Buccaneers. Listen to our conversation with Cecil HERE!
Football at Four underway with DMac saying he doesn’t think Christian McCaffrey will have much longevity in the NFL due to being overused right now by Stanford. The fellas then debate which positions they would draft in the first round. Our Producer, Raj, scores himself a Kylo Ren doll, compliments of Tyler Polumbus. Last night’s Monday Night Football game had it’s lowest television viewership in the program’s 46 year history.
The third and final hour underway as we welcome in Tyler Polumbus in studio to talk some Offensive Line. Al and Tyler break down how well Geno Atkins played on Sunday for the Bengals against the Broncos. The fellas also break down some of the miscues the O-Line had, including Max Garcia and Michael Schofield. The guys also talk about Austin Seferian-Jenkins, who got a DUI last Thursday, the Bucs cut him Friday, he was awarded to the Jets earlier today. Tyler and the guys wrap their conversation up with CU’s victory in Eugene, OR against the Ducks. The Closing Bell rings on Ronda Rousey’s fight career and Matt Ryan as trending up. Trending down is Joaquin Benoit for tearing his calf in a brawl and the Big 12 because Oklahoma is still undecided on expansion.
