Friday August 12th, 2016

The Broncos have their first victory of the season, and Big Al and D-Mac are here to react. They go over the dominating performance, pointing out who shined, who struggled, and who won the QB battle. They also touch on the Rockies, Avalanche, and Olympic games. They are joined by Patrick Saunders, Fan Broncos insider Cecil Lammey, and Superbowl Champion Tyler Polumbus to get insight on the Rockies and Broncos.

LISTEN TO HOUR ONE HERE!

The Drive gets off and running with reaction from the fellas to the Broncos resounding 22-0 victory over the Chicago Bears in preseason game one Thursday Night. The guys dive into the QB competition and compare the preseason performance of Trevor Siemian and Mark Sanchez, and who they see in the lead to be the starter.

The Big Three at 3:30 is headlined by the highs and lows of the Broncos preseason opener, which QB made the best case to be the starter with their performance, the US women’s Soccer team losing in the quarter finals, the New England Patriots cheerleaders spelling out “Brady” before the Pats’ preseason opener, and Shilo Keo getting hit with a two game suspension.

The guys are joined by Patrick Saunders to give some insight on the Colorado Rockies. They ask if the Rockies playoff hopes are over after their slow start to August, if the newly found “timely hitting” is cause for optimism, why the bullpen has had such a hard time as of late, and what the Rockies have to do to get a sweep against the Phillis. Listen to the full insight from Patrick Saunders HERE!

LISTEN TO HOUR TWO HERE!

Football at Four gets underway as Fan Broncos insider Cecil Lammey joins the show to give his take on the Broncos first exhibition game. They ask him what his high points and low points of the game were, who he sees leading the QB competition, which roster-bubble players to look out for going forward, and more! Listen to the full interview with Cecil Lammey HERE!

Up next the guys are going over the QB leader-board, making a case for why Mark Sanchez did NOT have the best game of the three QBs. The conversation shifts over to a preview of preseason game two against the 49ers, who will be in town next week to scrimmage with the Broncos a few times before the game a week from Saturday.

Superbowl 50 Champion Tyler Polumbus joins the show to give his take on the Broncos first preseason game. They ask him what he saw from the offensive line, particularly from Michael Schofield, what he thought about the motivation behind the Broncos running so many blitz plays, and what sort of motivation their is for veterans in preseason games. Listen to the full interview with Tyler Polumbus HERE!

LISTEN TO HOUR THREE HERE!

The guys kick of the final hour of the show going over some of the Broncos position battles and discussing where they stand after the first preseason game. This leads into the QB leaderboard where they talk about which QB gained the most ground in the first preseason game and who they expect to see start in the second game against the 49ers.

This leads to the Closing Bell ringing in with the latest trends including trending up with the Baltimore Ravens and Carolina Panthers game being delayed to watch Michael Phelps winning his gold metal, the Broncos team trending up with their domination of the Chicago Bears, over officiating trending down with the penalty called on Cam Newton for celebrating a big play, and the New York Yankees trending down with their treatment of A-Rod this season.

The guys close the show with some chatter about which players stood out most in the first preseason game, and what they’ll be looking for as the exhibition games continue.
